Blue Select®

A comprehensive major medical policy. It offers a choice of deductible and coinsurance amounts. You are able to save the most when staying within the Blue Select network of providers, but still have the freedom to see professionals outside of the network. Policy holders also have access to healthcare outside of South Dakota and abroad through the BlueCard PPO Program. Plans may include optional benefits, such as, Benefits Management Provisions, Better Beginnings, and Case Management.

Classic Blue™

A plan offering comprehensive medical coverage without the constraint of a provider network; however, there are still advantages to receiving care from Blue Cross affiliates. Members still have access to nearly 600,000 providers worldwide through the BlueCard Program, as well as the Benefits management provisions and electronic claims filing.

Short Term Major Medical

Perfect for those who need coverage for only a short period of time. Length of coverage can range from 30 days to six months, and a second six-month policy can be issued if your first policy expires and you still need coverage.

Senior Blue®

A policy offered to those over 65 and on Medicare. These are plans geared specifically for seniors.
