Regence BS of ID Individual Health Plans
Regence NowSelectSM PPO
Offers a choice of four deductibles with the freedom
to choose either in-network health professionals at a savings,
or out-of-network health professionals at slightly higher

Regence HSA Healthplan
Provides savings on your individual coverage while giving
you more flexibility. You open an HSA into which you deposit
tax exempt money that you use to pay your annual deductible
and other allowable health expenses. Any money left in the
account at the end of the year is allowed to grow tax free.
The HSA combines with a health insurance plan to give you
a choice among three different high deductible plans. Due
to its high deductible, whichever plan you choose will come
with a lower annual premium. This type of plan allows you
to save in several ways.
Regence BSID Options Under Medicare
MedAdvantage
Provides the protection
of a PPO network for Medicare eligible seniors. There are
no deductibles for in-network care and co-payments for
office visits and preventive care. The plan also includes
prescription discounts and dental benefits. In order to take
advantage of this plan, you must live in one of the Idaho
counties where it is available (as of 2009 the counties include: Ada, Bannock, Benewah, Bingham, Boise, Bonner, Bonneville, Boundary, Canyon, Clark, Elmore, Fremont, Gem, Gooding, Jefferson, Kootenai, Latah, Madison, Minidoka, Nez Perce, Owyhee, Payette, Power, Shoshone, Teton, and Twin Falls in Idaho, and Asotin County in Washington).
Senior Selection
A supplemental
Medicare insurance with dental benefits and an individual
assistance program.
Medicare Supplement
Provides
extra benefits to Medicare Part A and B recipients. There
are five plans from which to choose when you enroll.
High Risk Pool
Available from Regence for those who have previously been
denied coverage: Basic, Standard, & Catastrophic plans
are available.
