Intermountain HealthCare offers health plans
that can be balanced to fit your needs and your budget. You
can choose from three provider networks to vary the cost of
your plan (smaller network, lower cost). Depending on your
county of residence, IHC will match your needs for health
care through the following plans:
HMO Plans (Health Maintenance
Organization)
Provide several levels of deductible, coinsurance,
and co-payments from which to tailor your plan. Except for
emergencies, your care is received through the participating
providers and facilities. Three benefit levels are also available
to further customize your plan: Base-Level, Mid-Level, and
High-Level.
HealthSave Plan
Features a
high deductible that allows the plan to qualify with Health
Savings Accounts (HSAs). With this plan you can have a low
premium through high deductible or vise versa. You have the
flexibility to see a provider within or outside (higher cost)
of the network. With the savings you get on the low premium
you can pre-tax fund a HAS account and use it to pay for the
deductible and other qualified medical expenses. If the balance
is not used, the money stays in the account to gain tax-free
interest. HealthSave allows you to optimize your health-dedicated
money.
