Highmark BSPA Individual Health Plans
DirectBlue Individual
Provides
comprehensive major medical coverage through a preferred-provider
network of physicians with a low annual deductible. You can see
any health professional of your choice without a referral,
but your highest level of benefits are received when you use the participating network of providers. Prescription drug coverage
is also available when using participating pharmacies.
PPOBlue High-Deductible Program
With a HSA/Health Savings Account, this program combines the advantages
of a Highmark PPO insurance plan with a Health Savings Account.
The high deductible of the PPO plan requires a lower annual
premium, and you still have the excellent health coverage
associated with the PPO. Your Health Savings Account is where
you deposit money to use when paying your deductible and other
allowable health costs. If there is still money in the account
at the end of the year, you have the choice of leaving it
there to grow tax free or using it at a later time for medical
costs.
ClassicBlue
A PPO/Preferred
Provider Organization.
Your health care received through the PPO Highmark network
is covered in full, after a small co-payment. Coverage can include prescription
drugs, routine vision and preventive services.
MedigapBlue
Supplemental
Medicare insurance† for those benefits not paid or included
in Medicare. There is a choice of six plans from Highmark
Blue Shield, so you can choose the one that fits your criteria.
You have total freedom to use the services of any health care
provider.
Low Income
Plans include SpecialCare, CHIP, and adultBasic.
Highmark Blue Shield of Pennsylvania is an independent
licensee of BCBS Association.
It serves 21 counties in Central Pennsylvania and the LeHigh
