Health plans offered by Group Health Cooperative
for residents in the 20 counties of Washington and two counties
of Idaho are provided by the doctors of Group Health Permanente,
in affiliation with Kaiser Permanente. Highlights of these
plans follow.
GHC Individual Health Plans
Individual and Family Plan
Offers
five options for coverage and deductibles you choose when
you become a member. Two options provide comprehensive benefits
with 80% coinsurance after the deductible is met for office
visits, hospital, preventive, and maternity services. One
option provides catastrophic coverage and 80% coinsurance
after deductible for office visits, hospital, and preventive
care. Two options feature catastrophic coverage with 70% coinsurance
for office visits, hospital, and preventive care. Your medical
services are provided by the Group Health doctors and medical
centers and do not require referrals.
Optional Washington Dental Service
Provides dental coverage to members enrolled in Group Health
plans. Treatment received from WDS providers is more cost
effective, but you are free to seek care from any dentist.
Medicare Advantage
Offers more
than standard Medicare coverage, because it includes programs
for wellness, fitness, vision, hearing, dental, home health,
and much more. You are required to be enrolled with Medicare
Parts A and B. There are plan variations according to the
county you live in.
