Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania (BCNEP)

If you are in search of individual health insurance in the Wilkes-Barre area of northeastern Pennsylvania, you have come to the right place. Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania has been providing quality insurance plans since 1937 to the residents of the 13 counties in its region. The company’s mission is to make it easier to improve the health of the communities it serves and has achieved this goal by becoming the leading insurer in the region. They want to help you find the right plan for your needs, at the most affordable price.

Sometimes searching for individual health coverage can seem overwhelming. There is so much information to know, and this might be your first time. In general, the cost varies according to services you get, for example, the number of doctors available to you, the amount of deductible you pay, and the extra-out-of-pocket costs (along with the premium). The more services, the higher the premium; the more doctors you can see, the higher the premium; the more you pay yourself, the lower the premium. These are just some examples of how your plan can vary based on your own requirements. Put some thought into how much coverage you/you and your family will need in the near future – that will help you while you review the following plans.
