BC/BS TN Individual Health Plans
Personal Health Coverage Plans
Delivers a PPO/Preferred Provider Organization of BCBS health
care providers. You can seek care from any doctor in the network.
There is a variety of deductible and co-payment levels from
which to choose, so you can pinpoint your premium based on
what you want to spend.
BluePartner – HSA Qualified
High Deductible Health Plan
Offers the same PPO as above but
with the addition of the Health Savings Account — for two
ways to save. The high deductible PPO comes with a lower annual
premium. The Health Savings Account gives you a means to deposit
tax exempt money and then use it toward your deductible and
other allowed medical expenses. Within the BluePartner Plan,
there are four levels of deductibles. You are rewarded by
smaller out-of-pocket expenses by using the PPO network of
BCBS of Tennessee quality health professionals.
SimplyBlue
Offers the PPO network
from which you can choose a healthcare provider at a savings,
with the option to go out-of-network at a higher cost. This
is a lower cost plan with four options for deductible and
coinsurance. All family members contribute to the deductible
and the out-of-pocket maximum must be met before insurance
will start to pay for covered services.
SimplyBlue Plus
Also offers
the PPO network where you can choose a healthcare provider
at a savings, or choose to go out-of-network at higher cost.
This plan includes more services, as well as preventive and
wellness benefits. There is a choice of four options for deductible,
to tailor your premium to your budget.
Short-Term Personal Health Coverage
Provides the BCBS of TN PPO network of health care
providers for people who need insurance for only a short time.
You have a choice of coverage for 30, 60, or 90 days. You
also have a choice of deductible.
BasicBlue
A lower cost PPO
plan which includes the Blue Network K doctors that participate
with BCBS of TN, many of which are located around metropolitan
areas of the state. There are three levels of deductibles
in this plan.
BlueCross65
A group of ten
Medicare supplemental plans to choose from, all of which are
government approved. The BlueCross65Select includes the three
most popular plans. With these plans, you have freedom to
seek care from the health professional of your choice with
the added benefit of saving on prescription drugs.
