BC/BS of NM Individual Health Plans
BlueChoice®
Provides a PPO/Preferred Provider Organization network of health care providers who have signed up with BCBSNM for their services. There are four levels of possible annual deductible in this plan and also two choices for coinsurance. You can choose to see health professionals who are not in your PPO network but at higher cost.
BlueChoice Plus®
Involves a PPO network of providers also. There are five levels of possible annual deductible in the plans, and will save even more if you choose health professionals from your network.
BlueEdge Individual HSA
Offers a high deductible insurance plan in combination with a Health Savings Account. The high deductible plan has a lower premium, costs less when you use providers in your PPO network, and still gives you comprehensive health coverage. The HSA is a tax advantaged savings account from which you pay your deductible and various other health expenses. With this plan, you will be able to save money, while maintaining control over your health care decisions.
Medicare Supplemental
Plans help with expenses that will not be paid by Medicare. Here, BCBSNM offers plans with varying benefits, coverage, and premiums.
