Making the right choice for individual health insurance is often stressful. For residents of Nebraska, however, this choice is a simple one, at least for the last 65 years or so that Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska has been in the business. As of 2009, hundreds of thousands of people in the state have Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska policies and 94% of Nebraska doctors are members of the BCBS Nebraska network.

There are a variety of reasons why people may need individual health plans, from new graduates no longer with a parent’s coverage to people at work with companies without health benefits to people who own their own business. Whatever your reason, it is clearly better to have health insurance than to have to face today’s overwhelming cost of medical care alone. BCBS of NE has multiple plans for individuals or individuals with families, and there is one right for you.
