Provides you with a choice of primary care physician (PCP) who will direct your medical needs, its broad network of health care providers, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Preferred Provider Organization Plans (PPO)

Offers choices in deductibles and comes with a low annual premium. After paying the deductible, you have no coinsurance for many covered expenses if you use the PPO network of providers. There is no prescription drug coverage, but discounted prescriptions come from Express Scripts, Inc. participating drug stores.

Health Savings Accounts (HSAs)

These plans from Blue Cross of MA combine with one of the PPO Basic Blue Direct plans with their high deductibles. You open an HSA and use the pre-taxed money to pay for the deductible. Because the PPO plan is in lower cost, you save in two ways.
