Individual KeyCare™
Preferred is a PPO/Preferred Provider Organization plan which provides affordability and one of the largest networks of physicians in Virginia. You can save money by going within your network, but also have the freedom to see out-of-network providers. These plans include many other benefits for your overall health and wellness.
Individual Basic KeyCare™
A PPO plan with a lower premium, depending on which deductible and corresponding coinsurance you choose. You have the security of a wide network of health care providers, but also still have the freedom to go out-of-network.
Individual Essential KeyCare™
A PPO plan with a low premium, depending on which choices you make when you sign up. There are several deductibles and coinsurance levels from which to decide. You have the same basics of the other PPO plans, but with a lower maximum lifetime benefit.
Individual KeyCare™ HSA
Combines a high deductible health insurance plan with a Health Savings Account. Here, you can pay your deductible and other covered health costs from your tax-deductible health savings account. You have the protection of the extensive Anthem network of health providers in your PPO system of insurance, with all the freedom of a PPO and all the extras that Anthem BCBS VA offers its policyholders.
Individual Basic BlueCare™
A traditional plan of health insurance, with no networks to restrict your choices for health providers. You have a range of deductibles in this type of plan, which include decisions concerning coinsurances for other services.
Virginia Advantage™
A traditional health insurance plan, without networks to limit your choices for health services. From the decisions you make regarding deductibles and other options, the annual premiums can be more costly.
Short Option
A health insurance plan that can help individuals who know they will have other health coverage in a short time. It can last up to 180 days.
Individual Dental Plans
These plans work with a network of participating dentists for your lowest costs, but you are also free to seek dental care out-of-network.
Medicare Eligibles†
A supplemental plan for Medicare – to cover those expenses not paid by Medicare. There are four plans available to you which take into account the individual requirements of each individual.
